The lake of Annecy in France Alpes, welcomed 2012 Trophee des Ducs de Nemours of the 9th district. 17 boats from 3 nations, on a four days regatta in windy conditions. 6 races were completed with 4 of them in strong winds between 20-25 knts with more than 30 knts in the gusts causing 5 dismasting.

In these tough weather, the local team of Francis Mercier and Antoine Bernault showed their great knowledge of their lake winning 4 of the 6 races. Chris Rodowicz new member of the Annecy fleet took a brilliant second place with Michael Coutus crewing. Jeff Puissegur and Philippe Ergand ending the podium.

After the prize giving, Francis and Antoine took the road to join Hyeres for the world championship!
