Racing
Results
In Italy, the Viareggio fleet had 5 races in their Winter
Championship from November 12 to December 10th, which was won
by Valerio Chinca/Massimo Chiano.
Other racing has been
concentrated this winter at
Nice and Miami. In France, Jacques Puissegur and Jean-Gabriel Charton
won the Minimee,

Regatta with local sailors Xaviar Rohart and Pascal
Rambeau finishing first after a close battle with Roberto Bermudez de
Castro and Pablo Elorza Arrarte. Jean-François
Puisségur made a video of the regatta that can be
seen at
this link.
In Miami, the Levin
Memorial was the first race sailed in 2007 and was won by
Augie Diaz and Federico Engelhardt from a fleet of 35 boats. Fredrik Lööf and Anders Ekström won the next race, the Biscayne
Trophy, with the fleet growing to 58 boats. The end of
January brought the Rolex
Miami Olympic Classes Regatta (67 boats) with Lööf and Ekström winning by 18 points over Hamish
