LONDRIGAN, JR/PEDERSON WIN 2007 BLUE STAR
Tom Londrigan, Jr. (LS) won his 4th Blue Star this past weekend, this time with crew Matt Pederson (WLM).
Tom and Matt sailed very consistently (their throw-out was a 5!) and fended off the daily clinics hosted by Greg Smith & TC Belco on Day 1, and Rick Brethorst & Arthur Anosov on Day 2. See the Results page for more.
Thanks to Al Covington, the IR Star Fleet and the IVY Club on hosting a great event.
Special thanks to Beth Hansen-Brethorst and her Race Committee for doing a fantastic job. Square lines, fair courses. Exactly the way it should be.

Approval of Minutes from the 2006 Annual Meeting & Special Meeting:
Motion to accept Al Covington, Second Hyde Perce, approved unanimously.
Treasury Report; Motion to accept Mike Hettel, Second Hyde Perce,
Approved unanimously. Delinquent fleet dues, see attached breakdown.
Update on the Fleets:
* DR - Via e-mail, they would like to host Michigan Championship in late June or early July @ Crescent SYC, Icebreaker regatta scheduled for
10/6-7 @CSYC and DR would be interested in hosting the Green Star regatta.
* LS - Via e-mail, they have declined to host the Blue star championship.
* WH - No change in fleet size, they are considering changes to Race Weekend to promote participation and better racing.
* WLM - Fleet size remains constant possibly an increase of one boat. 59th mission regatta will be 6/23-24.
* IR - (7) active fleet boats, up 1 from last year.
* JP - This fleet possibly will be sailing on Wed evenings @ Montrose, Rick Rundle to lead the charge to Montrose. The class may need to expand
territory described in their charter.
* SLE - Ray Peters report via e-mail that they are hosting the Spitzer Cup on 8/4-5. The series will consist of five races.
* GLW - (4) boats no change. GLW declined hosting the 2007 Green Star.
* PPL - They will not be hosting any regattas this year.
* LCar - No report.
* GL - Jon Vandermolen reports via e-mail that their fleet is (13) boats. They are hosting the Tulip Tune-up on 5/19-20.
* CLE - Cliff Thomas reports via e-mail that they have a (7) boat fleet, will host the Pennel Memorial regatta 9/1-2.
