Racing on Lake Annecy

Race 1
Two old wooden Stars (4323 & 5848 with wooden masts) and 23 modern boats started sailing under a cold north wind of 4 to 5 Beaufort. The first start was good, and after an hour Local Young Skipper Martin Tenconi passed Henrik Dannesboe, German Master Klaus Kappes and Marco Marchesi.

Race 2
The North Wind is still a Five Beaufort, the start is a bit more difficult but again Martin Tenconi keeps the lead. French Star President Master Jacques Puissegur is Third.

Race 3
The wind is around 25 knots, wooden stars sailed back home safely. In those very tough conditions Henrik Danesboe succeeded before Tenconi and Marchesi.

Race 4

The sun is back; Wind lowered to 2-3 Beaufort. The whole fleet is racing, conditions have changed but not the ranking; At 19h30 everybody gathered for dinner at the Annecy Yacht Club with the traditional Medoc Wine from Chateau Baron Bich.

Race 5
Wind still lower with large shifts. In those soft airs Marchesi lead the race only to be overcome by Tenconi shortly before the finish.
