53rd Oxford Fall Wind Up

And what a high it was!!!

Richard and his committee must have sacrificed something to get a little breeze to come up in the afternoon, around 4-5 kts. We finished Race 2 on Saturday and were back at the docks by 6:15 p.m. just in time to shower for a wonderful dinner. The TV going in the background showed the races filmed by Pucky. Beef tenderloin and a crabcake made for a nice ending to a beautiful, albeit starved for air, day.

Sunday didn't look much better when we all arrived at the club, but Richard went out into the Choptank and found us enough (just enough) breeze to sail in. While it wasn't the perfect course for either Richard or us, we were all on the water and sailing with our friends. How bad is that?

Back to the club for awards, oysters and crab dip.
