This regatta is organized and run by the Buccaneer Yacht club every year. While the regatta is a drag race to the Middle Bay Light house and back (10 miles or so), Stars typically sail triangle courses after the Handicap boats start. The plan is to sail at least 3 races on Saturday only, with a throw-out if five races are accomplished. The Buccaneer throws a great party on saturday nite with food and entertainmet galore. If you have not sailed in Mobile Bay, this is the one you should not miss.
