Comments: The Lago Maggiore lies between Italy and Switzerland on the South side of the alps. June is the best month for the thermical winds you normally have in all the Prealps; 10 to 20 knots in the afternoon. This venue in the Italian speaking part of Switzerland is quite close to the boatyards of Lillia and Folli. Combine your visits to the boatbuilders with a good race in a beautiful environment. Of course we hope to attract not only the Swiss Star sailors, but also a lot of Italians. |
