This year was the year for the 2nd District to shine at the Nutmegs, with John MacCausland / Kevin Murphy of the Cooper River fleet taking top honors (for the 10th time), and the Annapolis boats of Bert Collins / Jake Doyle and Ben Fransen / Warren Richter rounding out the top three.

The predicted wind for Saturday was a strong 15 knot wind out of the West, and for once the prediction was close. Three good races were run in a relatively steady wind. Sunday on the other hand proved to be a surprise, with the prediction being from the Northeast at 8, but the reality was more like a somewhat weaker 15 knot breeze from the East slowly shifting to the Southeast. Both days had nice wave action adding to the excitement.
