| Report by Rick Burgess Sr. The 2006 FLASIR was sailed at Seneca Yacht Club Sept. 16-17. The weather on Saturday did not cooperate and though we tried several times to get a race started the wind never showed up. On Sunday we went out in what was a spectacular southerly wind in the 8 to 12 range. We sailed 3 races thanks to the help of our race committee Ted Koberg and Jim McIntosh. In the end it was my son Richard Jr. winning in a tie breaker over Kurt Reynolds. The turn out was small as the venue was changed at the last minute and several sailors had made other commitments. |
