| Report by Lars Grael: The Rolex Ilhabela Sailing Week included the the participation of the Star Class for the first time. Ten Stars took part with much media coverage. Thanks to the excellent reception at Yacht Club Ilhabela and to Kalu, Cuca, Poty and Lamblet for all the support received and to Pedro Paulo Petersen by flawless courses helped by participation of Marcelo Yacht Club of Brasilia. Thanks to the efforts of Dino Pascolato who was the arranger of the partnership with the District 7. It was a resounding victory by the tri-World champions Robert Scheidt / Bruno Prada, followed by South American champions Marcelo Fuchs / Ronald Seifert. Special mention for the Paranoa team Luis André Reis / Alexandre Freitas who won the difficult race route Renato Frankenthal. |
