| Sailed at San Diego, California. From the notice of race: The standard sailing rules as we remember them will apply (even though they’re new 2013!). Differences of opinion or recollection will be settled at the bar. There will be no Sailing Instructions. Courses will be obvious, or announced. On the water coaching during the racing will happen, and is allowed. The coaches will try to stay out of the way, but if they do get in your way, no boarding the coach boats, no crying and no redress. Coaches Andrew Campbell, Mark Strube, and George Szabo will be your coaches for the weekend. Even though Andrew has not been in his Star boat for at least one year – we will assume he still remembers everything correctly. Even though George and Mark have been Star sailing forever, we’ll assume they’re doing things right. |
