| The second annual Lorain Sailing & Yacht Club One-Design Regatta featured a range of weather conditions. Saturday's racing began with about 10 knots of wind, but by the end of the third race, died to about 5 knots. Tim Delaney, with his wife, Molly, crewing, scored three aces. Sunday brought winds of about 15 knots. Mike Phinney managed to pass Ray Peters just before the final short beat to win race four. The wind increased to about 18 knots at the start of the next race. That race was later abandoned when a heavy rainstorm moved in. |
