The Star Class Website
utilizes a database to collect event schedules and regatta results
from District and Fleet Officers. This information is
then used to dynamically create web pages that are immediately
available on the Star Class Website. This section of the
Website contains all the information you as a District or Fleet
officer will need to know to submit your event schedule and regatta
results.
The system
is entirely web-based, meaning there is no special software to
install. District Secretaries and Fleet Captains are provided
with passwords that allow them to post their schedules and results
to the Star Class Website on their own from any Internet
connection. This system places the responsibility for timely
website publication of District and Fleet information back in the
hands of the individuals responsible for transmitting it to the Star
Class.
