Happy New Year from ISCYRA

Happy New Year everyone from the Central Office! Rene and I would like to wish you a Healthy, Happy and Successful New Year!

This is the time of year where the Central Office gets to catch up with each of you with your membership renewals. Don't forget to update your addresses and boats for the database. Even if you are chartering a boat we need to know so that the correct number of Active Boats in your fleet is recorded.

Fleet officers - don't forget to send your updated officers And any racing results not yet submitted to Melinda for posting on the web and 2009 Log. Send the changes to mberge@starclass.org.

If you are interested in becoming a Sustaining Life Member of the class, please drop me a note at office@starclass.org. This is a good way to support your class. The dues are one time and they are twenty times the rate for Active members. When there is an opening you will be contacted and the process will start. Once you are approved by the Class Management Committee you're in! No more writing checks every year and you will always be able to vote!

One year.... Wow, this past year has just flown by! Our learning curve is not so steep any more, but there are always things that catch us off guard. It has been a great year for me. I've enjoyed meeting so many of you and have also really enjoyed the work. It is always fun learning new things. I think Rene and I have streamlined some things to make it easier for you to get the information you need when you need it.

We look forward to another great year and to meeting more of you!
