Happy New Year Star Sailors!
Wishing all of you a successful, happy and healthy 2012!
I have some very important reminders for everyone:
1. The date for the 2012 Annual Meeting is May 3rd in Hyeres, France.
2. The resolution forms were included in your Fleet packets that were mailed in early November. The date these Resolutions are due is JANUARY 5TH! That is this Thursday!
3. There are a lot of regattas coming up. The NOR and Entry forms are posted for the following events:
South American Championship, 21-25 March, Entry deadline: 2 March
European Championship, 12-20 April, Entry deadline: 27 March
World Championship, 2-12 May, Entry deadline: 6 April
Western Hemisphere Championship, 14-19 May, Entry deadline: 26 April
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Fleet officers for volunteering to be in those positions and for their hard work in 2011. It is a pleasure to work with great people and it makes the tedious job of keeping track of all you members go much easier!
A big thank you to Doug Smith too, who has been your treasurer for 8 years!
