Re: Paperwork you will need to ship your boat to Nassau
Rick Burgess has spoken with the Betty K Line people and determined what we will need to get our boats to and from Nassau. Basically the good people at Betty K Line will fill out all of the necessary paperwork for each of us. This is covered in the $1350 shipping fee.
You need to supply the following paperwork to Betty K Line:
1. Your name and address
2. Your social security number (if your country has such a thing)
3. Your email address and phone numbers
4. A copy of the measurement certificate for the boat that you are sailing in the current owners name.
5. A copy of your passport.
Clearly mark on the hull (or on the traveling cover) your hull number i.e. 8379, 7986 etc.
Masts will stay on the boats as if you were towing them to a venue to race.
Several people will be taking boats to Betty K Line. You will need to contact them if you need help. They are:
Skip Gillam +1 305 790 1528
Rick Burgess +1 973 557 8451
Rick Peters +1 310 720 2577
If Skip or Rick cannot help you, they may know someone else who is helping move boats.
See you in Nassau!
Best regards,
