Dear Members,
It is with pleasure I present to you the results of the 2009 Ballot. The specific results can be found here. The resolutions referred to are in this file.
Congratulations are in order.
- To Bill Allen and John Chiarella on being re-elected as President and International Secretary.
- To Sir Durward Knowles on being re-elected to an eighth term as Commodore of our wonderful organization and family.
- To Vice Commodores Harry Adler and Dierk Thomsen on their re-election,
- To Rear Commodores John MacCausland, Carlo Rolandi and Larry Scott on their re-election.
- And to the new Continental and District Officers
We, the members, thank each of you for taking the time and effort to volunteer to serve.
Resolution #2 passed. The wording on the resolution was #2-2009 To Amend STCR 37.1.2. Housekeeping 37.1.2. For Continental Championship (Silver) events an International Jury and a Race Committee shall be appointed by the Continental First Vice President with the approval of the Continental Committee.
I would like to thank Kris Wilson-AN for stepping in at the last minute when I was called out of town. I would also like to thank Bob Bradford-MES and Barbara Beigel-Vosbury-AN for taking time from their busy Holiday schedules to help with the Ballot counting.
