Hello all,
It’s that time of year again. The Holidays are coming and the Ballots are in the mail, your 2009 dues are due soon and the New Year is almost here!
The Ballots are in the mail to those eligible to vote. The ballots MUST BE SIGNED to be counted and returned to the Central Office by December 10th. (Sample ballot) I made a mistake on the ballots with the Fax number. The number should have been +1 443 458 5735, so if you call the office number and you receive the fax tone this is the reason. I will have the phone forwarded to the Fax number from 1800 EST until Noon EST. From Noon to 1800 the numbers will be as normal.
In April of this year the CMC and IGC voted to increase the dues for 2009. We have not had a dues increase since 2003 and our costs have steadily risen. Active membership will be $75 US and Associate membership will be $35 US
For Fleet Secretary’s the Fleet Kits will be in the mail by December 5th. Please remind your members that DUES ARE DUE BY FEBRUARY 1st.
Melinda is already working on the 2009 Log, so if you have any fleet championship or regatta results, please send them to webmaster@starclass.org for inclusion in the Log. Melinda is also looking for pictures!
