| Sailing at Hanseboot |
The Hamburg and Luebeck fleets had a Star boat on display at the Hanseboot Show in Hamburg, Germany, October 27 through November 4. The boat in the show was GER 8020, owned by Michael Ilgenstein. The photo shows Philipp Rotermund and his crew "sailing at Hanseboot".
The show was interesting. We offered sailing on Lake Alster during a regatta and the sailors tested Star boat sailing a lot. It was good to represent the Star boat at the fair. We had a good place next to the entry so everyone walked by.
A lot of young people came to see the boat as well as former Star boat sailors dreaming about former times.
